I'm in shock. An impulsive immediate reaction this - and I have yet to hear your other BLJ vid's. I hesitate to say this - to my head - you have absolutely crucified this pearl of BLJ's. You appear to have lost the blues in your speeded-up gymnastic version of it. That elusive evocativeness of something long gone and lost which soaked everything BLJ did. Fine playing but, the blues is totally absent here.

Briefly, as we could discuss this for hours : I don't believe in note for note renditions and always try to make a song my own, in which, apparantly in this case, I succeeded. No critisicm, positive or negative, will make me change my way of playing music; the way I feel it, that's the way I do it, I hardly think about it.
