@MLGNiKe 2.5 is an inline 5 cylinder, 3.2 is a V-6.

acuras are nice yo, im trying to get a 98 tl 3.2
-
whats the difference betweent eh 2.5l and the 3.2l premium?
-
lol my friend tranny on his 98 tl jus went out! he was pizzed! i told him 2 get rdy 4 it!
-
@ozorioorem the compression is 10.5:1 so a turbo would tear anything up quickly as for as the engine.....the tranny couldn't handle it either
-
these dont have turbo's i dont think the tl has ever come with a turbo engine but the tsx is the turbo one
-
No I don't own the car anymore

I wouldn't say that all their trannies suck, nor would I say that their engines do either. Honda engines are very reliable and last a very long time if you take care of them. If you have had a bad experience with them Im sorry, that sucks, but it doesn't mean that they all are like that.
In 1995 the 2.5l was the base model 5 cylinder engine had power everything, cd/tape deck, and leather as an option, (leather was standard on the 3.2tl. the 2.5 was released before the 3.2 in 1995 because of a trade dispute with Japan. 1997 and 98 little changed except more standard equipment and alloy wheels. 1999 car was completely redesigned and moved from Japan to The US and Acura dropped the 2.5 engine. thats all i could find about the differences between the 2.

The one that I had shifted just fine. very smooth when you wanted it to be and harder when you ran it hard.
