Michael Scott leaves 'The Office' this Spring, and feel he deserves a proper send-off. This is my tribute to Steve Carrell for giving us many laughs over the past 7 years.

Enjoy!

  • Argh, I hated the way he left. I was expecting something epic; a huge celebration, or him doing something crazy and going out with a bang instead he left, and nobody noticed. It was really sad when he turned to leave and say that epic goodbye and they were all still working. It was truly sad. At least Pam caught up to him at the airport but still so sad...he didn't even get to say goodbye the way he wanted to.

  • @The79Machine I agree. They REALLY screwed up. I hope they have a plan to bring him back of some sort, otherwise that was an awful way for him to leave.

  • @cinemaker006 I guess that's what the writers wanted you know...something sad, and they definitely pulled that off. Yeah maybe he'll make some cameos in the future. Ever since he had that little run in with Ricky's character in the hallway I been suspecting that was just some foreshadowing of them bringing Ricky in to take over. My bet is either Ricky as manager next season or Dwight's dream finally comes true, and Angela turned on by his "manager status" comes back to him. =)

  • @The79Machine Gervais was in that episode because he wanted his character to interact with Michael while he still could. However, I don't think that's gonna be how it happens. Will Arnett has been the name being thrown around since November. He is most likely going to be the new boss.

However, if it's not him, it'll probably be Gervais. He would be my first choice, but I don't think he wants to do it.

  • @cinemaker006 Ah I see. Well he'll be back in one of the final episodes so we'll see. Also, they listed James Spader and Ray Romano...I just hope to God it's not Jim Carrey lol.

  • @The79Machine Spader, Romano, and Carrey will only be appearing in the season finale as "potential replacements" (along with a couple other people) , but the writers and producers have no intention to actually have any of them replace Steve.
