It's pretty weird to see yourself (and some friends) in some production that you previously knew nothing about! Nearly all of the footage from this video was lifted directly from "True Caribbean Pirates" from the History Channel. I play Captain Henry Morgan, and we filmed it in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Right, I was making no criticism. The History Channel gig was a non-union buyout, so I guess they are in their right to resell my Henry Morgan footage. It's still weird to see a reuse of your work with not even a notification that the reuse was going to take place. It goes to show how important union work is. The individual performer's rights are protected.

When was the show "True Caribbean Pirates" originally shown? This program "Lost Worlds: Pirates of the Caribbean" was shown on the History Channel a few weeks ago and repeated on Sunday. I suppose the History Channel just steals footage from itself and puts it into a new context - using the historians and archeologists.
