@chuckn52 it's called AC Cobra internationally (mainly UK) but Shelby Cobra in the US... so you can call it either. Many on the roads today though aren't authentic and made with kits.

Lets end this argument. It can be called either AC COBRA or SHELBY COBRA because in 1961 Dave Evans an head man at Ford and Carroll Shelby, Shelby then hit upon the AC Ace. Both Evans and Shelby tied up a deal which saw Ford Credit pay AC to ship a complete car to Dean Moon's Venice workshop then Shelby used Ford's new 3622cc (221 ci) small block V8 to use in his new creation and he made some reinforcements but kept the same left springs and then the AC Cobra ( Shelby's name for his dream car)..
