All music in the same genres sound a bit like the other songs in it. so basically you cant say that only metalcore is generic.. how about radio pop then? haven't you guys ever thought about that?? pop, punk, deathmetal, reggae, soul , country.. these genres have the same kind of guitar playing, string sample riffs, drums, everything! when you play some genres music, you have to admit that it will sound quite equal to other bands, or then develope a new musical style. who agrees??
