  • @mrgrouchyguy Alright, thanks alot, will look this stuff up!

I'm totaly new to RCs :P

Well I appreciate the help, so thanks alot! :)

  • @V1KMaN RPM control arms, 4 hd springs, 4 stock, i used integy's piggy back shocks. shop around what appeals to me might not appeal to you.

  • @mrgrouchyguy Alright, I've only drove it for an hour, but what arms, shocks and springs would you recommend? :)

  • @V1KMaN They roll too easy. I changed out the control arms, shocks, springs & a wider tire now i can pretty much stand on my head going around corners, way better handling.

  • @mrgrouchyguy Alright, well I think the Escalade one is wider at the back, where you had to cut some holes at the Grave Robber. But I might just go with the GMC TopKick from Pro-Line, knowing it will fit without too much modding... Is there any other mods you'd highly recommend? :)

  • @V1KMaN I have prolines '72 chev long box, fit's great minus the roll bar.

  • @V1KMaN If you check out my "custom MGT 8.0" vid., you will see what i had to do to the top-back part of the Grave robber body. If the top of the Escalade is narrower than the lower half of the body you will have issues. You want to find some thing that is wide and long to make it a good fit or you will have clearance and rubbing off of your fresh paint from the sides.

  • @mrgrouchyguy Alright, I've been looking at the HPI Cadillac Escalade body, think it might fit? :)

  • @V1KMaN Both 1/8th scale but not the same size. MGT is wider and a bit longer. I have a HPI Grave Robber on mine and it's a tight fit with a few mods to make it fit.

  • Hello!

Are those trucks similar in the size?

I've got a MGT 8.0 and found a cool body, which fits onto a HPI Savage X, but I'd like to know if those are the same size, so that you could fit a body made for Savage X onto a MGT 8.0?

    Sweet driving btw!
