Hmm, maybe 3 deaths of Maria is like James remembers that he killed Mary over and over again... Played this game once and watched a couple of lps of it, but never thought about about it
Actually, sh2 is one of the best games ever for me because of it's plot, deep characters and a lot of symbolism in it. Such games don't get old.
Almost everything can be interpreted differently by different person or completely missed. That's a pity that sh series is just a scary game for a lot of people...

@grandpajoe12 I definitely agree about it being a shame that so many people think of it as "just a scary game series". Though 2 isn't my favorite of the series (that honor goes to 3), the early games are just fantastic psychological horror games that actually has meaning and *gasp* THOUGHT put behind them. They really don't age, and that's what's great about them.
