Tim Russert dies, Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann share memories. ---------------------------------------- ---- Chris Matthews's anecdote about talking to his colleague in the run-up to the Iraq war was interpreted by several conservative blogs as an "anti-war screed," as Ed Morrissey put it. The "Hardball" host said Mr. Russert believed that the potential of nuclear weapons in Iraqi hands could justify an invasion. "Even worse," Mr. Morrissey writes, "he made Russert out to be a dupe bamboozled by the Bush administration while presenting himself as a superior journalist." http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/20...

these two clowns, olbermann and mathews dont know a thing about good journalism.TIM RUSSERT was not only a great journalist, but a great man and a great father.we cant even call these two clowns men, having these clowns do a piece on RUSSERT really takes away from the man he was.
This is where we can agree to disagree I'm sure. Organizations like FOX News and CNN have come to to appeal to the base of people's emotions, whereas Matthews and especially Olbermann brought a different perspective. These are arguable some of the best words I have heard about Tim Russert, seeing as how these are the people who worked with him day in and day out and presumably knew him best.
I knew Tim Russert, and I know what you are saying is true, but I hate to admit, his journalism declined in 2008. For example, wasting debate time asking Dennis Kucinch about the UFO
Alright you can name one screw up, really fantastic... I mean come on! The man is dead, and once in his life (at least) he was a very good journalist/person. So what I am saying is: Let us give him that; let us remember him for that; let us praise him for that.
What an asshole Chris Matthews is. At a time of honoring somebody he takes advantage of it to talk about the Iraq War and how much of a mistake it was. Jesus Christ, leave your politics to yourself for 10 fucking minutes.
Who the hell gives 3 shits about Tim Russert? he was just another over paid talking head hack. Journalist my balls, the news has been canceled for at least 20 years.I hope he rots in hell for what he did to Hillary Clinton with that stupid immigration question. A outsourced dot head from India could do a better job of the so called journalism that Russert did and for a hell of alot less money. The circle jerk going on over this over paid hack is truly disgusting.
