I think it's not right that Alonso is here but Hamilton isn't, even though Hamilton's beaten Alonso on almost every fair occasion.

@mikeXdeakin In the fair occasions, (2007, 2010 & 2011) It's actually 2-1 to Alonso. Can't count 08' & 09', most of the time the Alonso's Renault was in was miles behind the McLaren in terms of pace.

Lets not forget, on the fair occasions, Alonso has been in the slower Ferrari & still came out on top in the championship (against Lewis).

No doubt Alonso is better than Hamilton & Fernando certainly does derserve to be in the top 10, because hes out performed every single F1 Car he's driven.

@theajosephantony The reason I didn't put anything of Michael at the start, is because the start was for the drivers that didn't quite make it into the list, all of the drivers at the start aren't in the top ten.

@Elbrusbase Because in 3 of those 5 seasons, he's had championship winning cars. In 2010 & 2011, he's had rocket ships of cars, and won him the titles. And the Toro Rosso wasn't actually that bad of a car in 2008, as Bourdais nearly had it on the podium in Belgium & in races like Brazil, Bourdais wasn't far behind Vettel.

Compare to Senna's first 5 season, Ayrton won many races in a midfeild Lotus, before dominating in 1988 at McLaren. Vettel hasn't got the natural talent of Senna.

It's too hard to say the top 10 best drivers of all time bacause formula1 has more than 60 years.

But names like Niki Lauda,Nelson Piquet,Emerson Fittipaldi, Mika Hakkinen and Kimi Raikkonen can't be out of the top list.
