This video is a simple portray of the main components you would need to start recording today. Remember the components mentioned do not have to be what is shown. But the equipment used will get you great results.

  • so how do i connect a mixer to a behringer u-control uca202 ? really need help with this

  • @XtremefrozenxX the ucontrol is a 2 in 2 out, rca connection.. If mixer has Record out, I would run that to the rca in of ucontrol, If it has monitor in, then run the rca out of u control into that! Then send the main out of mixer to your Speakers! You may have to purchase some 1/4 inch to rca cables! That's will let you hook up multiple things and record all to the 2 channels in u-control! for more seperation you need a interface with more inputs and outputs! Sorry for delay

  • owh thanks and can you do a video of connecting a mixer to a behringer u-control audio interface ? that would really help a lot .

  • @XtremefrozenxX Yes I will have to get acess to the stuff.. I will see if guitar center will let me shoot a video!

  • lol@super fux..

  • does that imac g3 interact with your other studio equipment?

  • @lucd45 To add to this, most higher end studios incorporate very high quality mixers like solid state logic or Neve, or api trident.. list goes on, reason is these have enough preamps, eq, routing, and sound quality that is second to none, they run them in line with mulitple ad/da convertors! VERY BIG BUCKS!!!! I have a control 24 it's a big mouse with preamps! monitor section, submixer, awesome piece! No analog console like ssl or neve though!

  • @XtremefrozenxX

U can use a mixer in a home studio but most software like protools, cubase, fl studio, logic, etc. already have a software mixer so there is really no need to spend extra money to buy a mixer. If you were to buy any mixer at all I would suggest an Avid C 24 or the icon series mixers(If you were to buy any).

  • is mixer ok to use ? to get a good sound ?

  • @ThaChromeMicrophone It's a prettty tight keyboard!
