NFS Porsche Unleashed - Part 1 - Love the Classics

I've been wanting to do this walkthrough for a long time guys. I love this game very dearly, and I would love for it to have more love on YouTube too. Yeah, the PC version looks better, but this is the one I played as a teenager and it's the one I get nostalgic about. So that's why we're here. There certainly seems to be a demand for it with the response to my last PU video.

By the way, do you like the format I am using with just music and no sound effects? Do you want to see complete races, or is a one-lap preview good enough for you? I want to know if I should stick to this format for the rest of the walkthrough or change it up.

Question, can you describe the driving physics? From what I'm seeing it doesn't look too difficult, although I'd assume the rear-engine 911's later on will be a bit harder to drive.

One lap is good enough for me and I don't mind listening to the sound effects during races. Listen to those vacuum cleaners roar. :)

@MindlessMiles The driving physics are very arcadey. You can drive around turns much faster than how much I'm going now. But since crashes cost money in this game, I don't want to go any faster than I can handle.

A little bit of respect is given to drivetrains too. The 959 with it's AWD system is a lot more stable than the 928 for example, since the 928 is RWD.

Porsche Unleashed on PlayStation is a little different from the PC version it seems... on the PC version you can only start off with the Porsche 356A.

It's been so long since I've even heard about this game! I forgot it even existed. This, the original Hot Pursuit, and NFS High Stakes were the BEST entries in the NFS series ever. Once Underground and all the clones came out, it just went downhill.
