I snuck in this video while in the exhibition room at the Ghibli Museum in Mitaka, Tokyo, Japan.

The video isn't all that great as I was hiding the camera. Essentially this is a set of still figures that are attached to a large rotation device. The lights turn off and new lights flicker, creating a stop animation looking motion - to make the still figures look as if they are dancing around. All the characters from Totoro come to life in a magical way - forget about Disneyland, this place truly made me feel like a kid again! And the toasted bun with the hotdog at the cafe was a nice touch - no mustard though...shame on you!
