  • Heyy I like your idea! It's really cool!

But um what program or whatever did you use to create this thing?

  • @debbypai hi there, it's all handmade with cut out pieces of coloured card, photographed by a digital camera frame by frame. I then composited it and added the sound on a computer in premiere. :)

  • Do you know Norman Mclaren's work?

  • Hi, yes I do - he's ace!

  • great job :D

  • At first I wasnt very impressed because of just how simplistic it was ... how ever the more I watched the more I loved it ... the brothers scene was very good, funny and flowed well ... the friends and lovers scene was well told the way you danced round each other and one by one were taken away, well all but im guessin you which was sad ... i couldnt believe i feeling sad for a piece of circular card haha ... the sad times scene was a typical approach but really gets the mood across well..VGood

  • It's a nice idea, i think that would be better if you didn't specify every moment of the autobiography, because the play between the dots draw the words, so when you shows "birth" "bat times" etc., the animation becomes literal, and heavy. But nice job, though. I did like it

  • I'd say lose the titles except other people already have. Otherwise I think it's a very nice piece of work and a good idea =)

  • I lol'd at the 'brothers' part. I feel like that with my little sister sometimes...

  • The "Bad times" part with the dot just moving around & around bumping against the walls without really getting anywhere in a space with the walls continually closing in on it totally communicated the futility one can feel during bad times. That part & "Friends & lovers" are my favorites. Excellent minimalism with heart & humor.

  • Great, I love it :)

It might have been better without any titles, inviting the viewer to recognize the meaning themselves.

  • it´s really nice. Small completely unprofessional critic from a16 year old: it kind of loses it abstraction with the titles.
