I live in Canada, so I see and live the effects of climate change and I am not a scientist. So unless you are one of those 30,000 scientists, and by the way, where are you getting YOUR numbers from? At least have the "middle aged wisdom" to back this number up! Why not just buck up, and wish them well on their fact finding mission? OH and your middle aged wisdom should have realized that the proper wording would have been THEIR ( not there) own personal financial gain as you typed above!

MRMILO I see to see a lot of corporations sponsoring the Expedition, and some pretty big ones, ones that have the cash to support a valuable Environmental OR Scientific Expedition. I am not a gen - y, in fact, so lets not assume that all middle aged people have wisdom especially when it involves new things they may not necessarily be familiar with! Any survey result or factual evidence they return with is valuable and is more than what YOU or I would have ever known about from that region.

Apart from that you are entirely wrong. I don't green-wash anyone. I also try not to make sweeping statements. You must have different sources than me. I have heard that global warming is for instance a fact. And it looks as if it has been caused by human behaviour.

The Catlin survey is a group of environmentalists (not scientists)!....out to push the man made climate change theory, for there own personal financial gain....GOVERNMENTAL FUNDING (TAX PAYERS MONEY)!

30,000 scientists don't believe man is changing the climate!

10,000 IPPC eco-religious environmenalists (pixie scientists) are preaching the man climate change theory
