How to Unbrick an Xbox Liteon Drive

Ive taken a 7 series Lite-on and deleted the Firmware. At this point, the drive wont eject because of the lack of firmware. It makes no difference if you have a 7, 8 or 9 series. This works for all of those drives.




I load my Original firmware as 'Source' which contins my DVD Key and then I load the same file again as 'Target', because I dont want to flash it with the latest firmware, however you do, so after loading your source firmware, when prompted, let JungleFlasher auto load the latest firmware.




I then click erase, power cycle the drive when told to do so, click write and click outro.




Thats it! Done.

NOTE!
If you dont have your DVD Key, DONT do this. It will erase any firmware on the Drive.
ONLY use this method if you Have your Key. (OFW, CFW, Dummy.bin)

FIX FOR THE "device returned invalid status!"

If you are getting this error after trying to write even with 0x72 status, manually eject your drive half way and THEN follow this vid.

I spent all of yesterday stressed out trying different ways of erasing and none worked except use this video and have the drive tray half way out! My CK3 pro was used with the RED light setting.

I hope this helps you guys in the same situation :)

@360modmonster My 83850c is bricked and the jf cannot detect it under any sata port. The same with dosflash. Any ideas?
