  • The only thing I can say is "green" about them is they LOOK like they should be green. But give a close inspection and you'll see they aren't. It's another case of big Co. doing the bare minimum to cover the rest of their carbon tracks. Fuck jeff for working with these assholes and fuck nike for trying to pull the wool over our eyes. Again.

  • What difference does it make WHO made it. The bottom line is the product is bullshit. First, try and find it anywhere. It barely exists. Second, of the recent ones I've seen, all the issues Jeff talks about in this video aren't true. There ARE glues! There ARE adhesives!

  • Hey Jeff, FifthandFifth is pretty close to the truth. You didn't design nike considered shoes as you have alluded to in this clip. You were involved in hyping nike & providing some graphic design which you did well. Aside from that, you're taking credit for work done by others & you know it. There are plenty of people who have proof, but don't want to stoop to this level. Stop & think.

  • Hey fifthandfifth, u sound like you really now what you're talking about. Got some evidence to back those big words up?

  • jeff ng is overstating what his role was in the considered project. nike approached him to use his store as PR space for launching considered but he had nothing to do with the design of the shoe or the concept. nike did a great job with the shoes and the graphics were done by hunter gatherer. look at staple's portfolio and you'll see everything he touches is rather poorly executed. he needs to stop taking credit for work he didn't do.

  • Sorry, but that comment is too easy.

First, 20cents/hr is more than many people make in the world. Ask silk weavers in India if they'd be happy w that rate (they're begging for $1/day).

Second, companies can't just say "Here's your Western-sized salary" and pay factory workers more than doctors or engineers or other professionals. That creates a societal imbalance and potentially a nation of laborers.

We all wish it was simple. It's not.

  • Great... Hope Nike continues that way! The next step would be stopping kids working in their factories for 20cents per hour...
