Matt Damon has got the perfect holiday git idea for you - a water bottle. While that may not seem very exciting, for just $10 you can buy a limited edition stainless steel or BPA-free plastic bottle that helps raise funds for his organization Water.org. Which means you'll be playing a role in getting clean drinking water to people living in poverty. That Damon has so many great ideas on how to improve the world - man it's a shame he's not running for president.

Glee star Lea Michele wrote a letter to New York City's Mayor Bloomberg in response to the death of a carriage horse last week. While a ride through Central Park may seem like a romantic way to experience the city this tragedy is not an isolated incident. Lea asked for Bloomberg to support a bill to end the use of horse-drawn carriages and replace them with electric replicas of cars from the 1900s, which sounds like a lot more fun to me anyways.

Ted Danson, best known for his role on Cheers, is taking a stand for the environment on the set of CSI. Which sounds really great to you and me, but it irked someone enough to release a story on how annoyed their were with his eco actions to the National Enquirer. While that "news" source may be questionable, it's pretty amusing that the source found Danson's recycling, energy-efficiency ideas, and compost bin that outrageous.

Ecorazzi got an exclusive interview with "Vampire Diaries" star Ian Somerhalder while he was dressed in a sexy Captain Planet costume at a his foundation's first charity event benefiting women and youth. He told us how he believes that ids are the future, thus he's working to get people to stop underestimating them. He said a lot more but I lost focus because a hot guy talking about helping women and children is really distracting.
