@wpayton3934 Also when your flooding it use hot or warm water. The ice will freeze with less cracks and more evenly if you use hot or warm water.

nice rink man. i'm just wondering i have a rink also, and when mine was flooding the snow drifted that night and it froze into large clumps on the ice. im not quite sure how to fix it and i did try to scrape them off. if u have any ideas thatd be great,

well i hate to say it but ive had that problem in the past and the best way is to
break it off i used an axe and chopped away the areas that couldnt be fixed and re-froze them, try to do your flooding in the evening when there is less wind, boards around the outside help alot too, also just make sure when your flooding you only flood about 1/2 inch at a time or so its easier to fix problems that way too, thanks for liking the rink..good luck
