We can still change the world but we first have to change our habbits. We need to demand equality for all and to do that we need to stop worrying about materialism!

We really only need food, water, warmth, shelter and medicine! We first need to decide if all the little amenities like the American Illusion is worth lives. Our humanity is all of us and any sacrifice to a part of the whole makes us nothing more then animals.

@endtyrany I DO AGREE.....Materialism is a state of mind....We have been so WASTEFUL in the United States, and all in the name of patriotism...It's sad...We equate the worship of material possessions with success....The TIBETAN beliefs make sense in today's world.....I am not saying that we should all be poor, I am saying that we should THINK, before we act, and have more compassion on our fellow humans, and on the other life forms which inhabit this gorgeous planet. This summer should be very interesting and at least like a summer 2008. There is no doubt that gas prices will be at or above $4.00. World demand is only increasing, peak production is here or very close, unrest in the middle east, public weariness about nuclear, and now peak annual driving season coming..we will see some changes this summer, but it could be very well pivotal, a tipping point. Just be prepared which really means just start thinking about the future and have a plan!
