For the transpose master, if you have a lot of subtools, hidde the ones that won't move (such as the pedestal etc) before you activate it. It will speed up the process to work on the objects that need to be posed only. Also, avoid to have very high detailed subtools with transpose master. It's better to do it on lvl5 objects, and keep the detailing sculpt for after the posing. Hope that helps. Cheers.
