Where are you? Opening the world to dialog; it may well be the greatest promise of a DARPA innovation: the Internet. We consume and waste too much in the west, but we do foster freedom and original thought--may your land open its borders and its minds. I wish you well. If Heinlein comes your way may I recommend "The Door Into Summer" "Methuselah’s Children" "Time Enough For Love" "To Sail Beyond The Sunset" and, of course, the cult favorite "Stranger in a Strange Land." Good life!

I have them all. I did not see a copy of "The Sixth Column" in your list. I read all of his books at least once every year and quote from them like a Baptist preacher can quote from the King James Version!

I look at the selection of science fiction and fantasy; and what we read is what we pick, and it is a game of dice to get good picks. Once we have become read with an author, that is what we have, and there is no more time. The selection of science fiction and fantasy is so large, that we can choose our identity by genre, and individualist are isolated and unable to find another like them. Good stuff from Robert A. Heinlein.

In moments like these I hate my country. None of Heinlein's books are available in my country. No let me rephrase, almost every great Sci-Fi novel is not available in my country. Great video anyway.

I would say that "The Moon is a Harsh Mistress" is right up there with Troopers. Personally I would put Mistress one notch above Troopers but that is just individual taste. I could see how others might put Troopers highest.

I really liked Friday. It is one of his books that some people love and some hate. In regards to the cat I think if you Google "Heinlein cat" you will find some info about him.
