  • Couple of questions if you dont mind:

    - What lb test is your cable on the hook set? You didnt happen to make a video on how to make that did you ? :)

    - What brand crimpers are those? I like how they "snap" when completing the crimp

    - Do you customize the Iilander at all or use it right out of the tube?

    - Do you pull an in-line weight in front of this rig? If so, what weight?

Really really like the way the rig comes together. I am excited to try it! Thanks

  • nice rig good video thanks

  • dude watch my chair with those crimpers

  • You run the hooks in line to act like a keel so you run straight. When high speed trolling( i.e. 12 knots or faster) offset hooks cause too much drag and will cause the kure to spin or dart too much. I've taken Capt. Tony's class at IGFA as well as many other Wahoo Skippers advice and it greatly increase my hook-up ratio. Rick Rials, Ray Rosher, Bouncer Smith and others have all told me the same thing.

  • it's a nice lure, but if the wahoo it's attack anywhere arraund the heat maybe you lost beacuse it's free it's no hook there if you trolling at 8 or 9 knot but maube in 16 or 18 knot you have strike. nice lure i need to try. good fishing

  • it makes much more sense to run 180 degree hooks

  • why would you run in line hooks
