Folsom prison blues (Johnny Cash, ukulele cover) - Shane Foxx

Another song that I haven't heard or played for years, but one of my all times favorites. I know my version is far from the original, that's good, I'm just not too satisfied with my voice on it... I was just happy playing it again and I might record more of my favorite songs in the future if my voice still cooperates!!!

Shane , I have not been exposed much to the ukulele and def not on a Johnny Cash classic ........... hmmmmmm you have a way of making everything your own and I like that. good job :) Would you consider doing a cover of Tennessee flat top box ? it is one of my favorites and I know this would be a song that you would find enjoyable to do. Your voice and using the instrument of choice makes this song so completely different is a good way. In Johnny Cash's voice you hear the harshness of his life. Your version is like a voice of innocence almost telling the future. Great work, Shane.

A complete departure from the rugged Johnny Cash original, and yeah, as I'm reading other comments, I agree that the choice of instrument, the style, and your voice, give it an innocence that I've never even HEARD in the song before. I totally love it.
