Circus Animals

Another amazing video about the horrors animals are forced to endure in the captivity industry.
Ringling Bros. elephants spend an average of 96% of the day chained up. In the wild, these animals can travel hundreds of miles per week and gallop at up to 30 miles an hour. They remain with their herds for life -- very dedicated and intelligent animals.
In captivity, they are taken away from everything natural and are forced to become slaves to entertainment.

A very interesting video on a subject which is not usually addressed or frequently shown to us. The fact that these animals are treated this way is increadibly disturbing, especially when the people who are entertained and leave content after any circus performance are us!

the circus visited here not too long ago, and i tried my best to spread this word around. Unfortunately, Carson and Barnes sold out all their tickets, and my parents prevented me from attending the protest.

that must of been upsetting :(

i always find acrobatic circuses really fun
but when circuses involve wild animals it's not entertainment
it makes me feel sick almost

It is so sad. I'm boycotting circuses that have animals, but when I was a kid I visited one and they had sealions, and I sneaked backstage and saw how they where living and it was a horrible truck with a small pool and nothing else. Then I was chased out of there, but I saw a glimpse of the poor seals... how I wish for them to be free.
Those who wish to pet and baby wild animals "love" them. But those who respect their natures and wish to let them live normal lives, love them more. ~Edwin Way Teale, Circle of the Seasons, 1953

Great vid. Thanks for spreading the word on circus animal abuse. I hope people watching this learn to not support such cruelty by paying to see them. If they make no money by expoiting animals, they will stop.
Spread the word!
