"Short Recoil" can be, too short. On Glocks, it's WAY too short.
Watch "Zach blows out a Glock 19". Note how much flame is coming out of the ejection port.
It's NOT, supposed to do that! The Fire is supposed to be OUT, before Breeching occurs.

I have a Gen 4 Glock 17. Over 4000 rounds through it no stoppages, a thousand of which are handloads with no issues. Also sort out your drills if you carry for defensive purposes, you need to be more deliberate and do things with a sense of urgency. I'm not saying go as fast as you can, but you don't need to baby a Glock.

i have a glock 9 mm 17, been shooting it for over 6 years , rarely does it jam that much...

ouch what brand or company of reloads did you purchase from ? should mix some of those reloads with a batch of good rounds to get good practice with jam scenarios but it seems like your getting alot of jam training as it is lol.
