Did the presidential hopefuls know their debates were being sponsored by Fidelity? The mutual fund with ties to the genocide in Darfur? Contact the Candidates: http://www.FidelityOutofSudan.com
This fucking topics is already old,,americans is just fuckin businessmen, they don't want to interfere with chinese oil production in sudan. Americans talk too much.
Chinese oil companies provide the funds government "thugs" use to murder their people. When the campaign against Fidelity began it was the largest PTR holder on the NYSE. After the campaign forced their recent sale they still have nearly $900M PTR and $200M Sinopec. Most is on the Hong Kong stock exchange and ignored in many rankings. Since Fidelity refuses to admit moral responsibility, investors risk Fidelity buying more at any time. Check out FidelityOutOfSudan for details.
I would rather be educated about what these companies (PTR and others) are doing then be told that it is fidelity's fault because someone is too lazy to do some real research.
For anyone interested in facts PetroChina is the topic of main debate (traded as PTR) check out morningstar's 'insider trading' section after looking up the ticker and go to 'top fund holders' and do your own research. If you are going to blame a mutual fund for the actions of a company at least choose the one with the largest stake in it.
We don't hate arabs, We do however want to put a stop to the well funded, dedicated, and verry capable terrorists who want nothing better than to KILL us. thats right, if you don't believe it, purchase a ticket to Baghdad. Trust me, it'll only need to be a one-way/ I dont think the gorillas in Darfur are quite to that level.
Genocide in Darfur must be stopped...wow what a revelatory position to take. Everyone says it, nobody does anything about it. People seem to be apathetic to suffering in Africa because it happens with such regularity. There is no terrorism coming out of Darfur that is why they concentrate on the middle east.
