  • @totallynotHN @arewegoingtothezoo I almost want to say that I understand where you're coming from, cause I can understand not wanting to hear other peoples problems, but, just so you know, comments like "attention seeking faggot" just feel like a stab in the gut. I did NOT comment for attention at all, I just felt like sharing during a time of pain. In fact this and one other video ( same song, different version) are probably the only videos I have commented on EVER. You don't have to be mean.

  • chris martins and michael stipe cover is bullshit and crap compared to this. Those 2 ruined the song. Nothing reaches the original, ever

  • @sonicblew Ever since I saw this, I've used a CD to cover the sound hole of my guitar when I have to record in such conditions that you have stated.

  • never gets old!!

  • @MABisMAGICK One of the things that sets us apart from most living things upon this planet is our ability to communicate intelligently and with depth. Don't ever be discouraged from sharing your thoughts and feelings with others simply because of the braindead ramblings of a few aggressive simplistic animals temporarily polluting the human gene pool. Mans greatest progression is his abiility for expression - and the love that fuels it.

  • Never thought about using a CD as a soundhole cover until I saw this. It dampens the volume a bit and has a nice bright tone. Good for when you find yourself recording some demo in a cramped makeshift garage studio or such.

  • john lennon lives on

  • Great song, but someone tell him he is not John Lennon

  • its about someone dying from cancer

  • @AstheniaEdits I'm sure you're right, but I really just took this song as beautiful and no matter what the intended meaning, applied it to my life. That's the beauty of art, once it's public, it belongs to the audience. The meaning they find in it can be more important than the true meaning. As an audience member, I take a bunch of words and relate them to my own thoughts to help me get through a tough time. The actual meaning(does matter) is second to the feeling individuals takes away from it.
