Well you're gonna find out anyway.

This is the biggest project I've done so far, and took about 4 days to stitch together. My thanks to the stars and my good friends at Guildford College.

It was the effect I wanted to achieve more than most. It coulda been something completely different but I went with it as it was something I'd never tried before (for the purposes of filming of course) and I thought it worked well so left it in.

THEN you gotta replicate the clock... Went online, downloaded a good font, swatched the colours from footage of the real one, edited them, stuck it all together. There's a problem with the editing software I use that causes some file conflicts when I use the font, too. So that was great...

how did you do the linking thing then?

That would be giving away an editing secret... I'm sure if I spilled the beans it wouldn't make that much difference, but... Fuck it.

Basically I had to get the sound effect from some fansite, then splice it over the top of a black background, shrink the 4 videos I wanted to use down to 4 small boxes, each the same size (although the first was an experiment), and introduce them in time with the sound.

This video is the first in CKTV history to be legally challenged over Copyright.

Warner Music, a sub-branch of Warner Brothers, requested the removal of this video from my channel due to the use of the song Jakata - American Dream. 07:03 - 08:16

It is apparrently infringing US copyright law.

I wrote an appeal to YouTube and Warner Brothers, stating that the use of the tune is legal under the "Fair Use" agreement.

And as a result, here the video stands.

CKTV 1 : 0 Warner Music.
