Did you do anything special to the wood inside the enclose such as stain or seal it? Do you plug each individual light in from each cage? How do you heat each cage?
-
How much is the plexiglass for a piece like the large one?

hey just wondering, the actual wooden frame ill call it that you use to house your reptiles, did you build it or is it purchased? also, what do you use in terms of lighting/heating. because it doesnt look like you can fit a lamp into most any place in there? all in all im very impressed and looking to design one of my own similar to yours!

can someone explain to me what plexi glass is? is it really glass or just transperant plastic? if its glass how would you cut it?
tteezzrreell 7 months ago
@tteezzrreell plexiglass is a much more reliable alternative to real glass. plexi is a generic term for a whole host of polymers of plastic from optix acrylic to a heat treated clear ceramic. i use acrylic plexi it is durable and easy to cut with a skill saw, or scoring with a razor blade and breaking leaves a cleaner edge. i used 1/8 inch for extra security but anything will work fine.
