Her pure mountain soprano voice has changed very little over the years...she can still soar on thoes high notes just as well as she did back in the late 60s/early 70s when she was just starting out.

This is not awful, it is just in the spirit of outdoor entertainment. She grew up handling the public live and raw and it is not meant to be a masterpiece; it is for the people attending an event not a concert. She does extremely well against the odds and I think those present must have had a whale of a time. It was not a performance for a cd or video, just good fun. Despite that, still loved her voice and Old Apple Jack.
