cotto must have alot of power... miguel torres threw a wild punch from way back and landed at 559 and cotto didnt have to spend all that energy and got a 526...imagine if would have thrown a wild punch like miguel torres did?

They don't measure power, that's for sure. They might measure force, but definitely not power. The bag is not weightless. Force is mass x acceleration, so that explains the "speed" you were talking about.

NO, gsp and chris angel both got 730s, no step. By the way these machines DO NOT measure power seeing how the bag is weightless. Therefore the only determining factor witch the number represents is speed.

Wow I didn't even see that it said 748 on that actual machine. That makes 50 million times more weird.

I can consistently hit 748 on that machine and I'm 17. For some reason I hit 748 on almost every one I punch though. Weird.

I guarantee if chuck liddell hit that he would surpass the 700 mark very easily. GSP hit in the 800 range on one and chris angel got even higher than he did. The way chuck throws that over hand right, bet he could easily get a 900 . or mike tyson yeah he would probably hit it and the thing would flash over 1,000 as smoke poured out of the machine and a little white flag comes out the side . lol
