JET is awesome. the fact is shit bands today cant match up so people like these fuck faces who look nothing like the band-yeah nic wears a leather jacket all the time? take them and say they copied others.

How is it a bad thing that JET sounds like the Beatles? That like saying "dude, fuck you, you look too much like your father". JET was influenced and molded by them. The fact that people say they sound alike should be taken as a compliment by JET.

Any band that has come after The Beatles has in some way or other "ripped off" The Beatles. The Beatles have influenced a lot of today's music almost as much as black blues/ragtime artists inspired the formation of Rock 'n Roll. I would call JET's music more a tribute than a rip. Even I catch myself playing a Beatles song when writing sometimes, and I always find myself overwhelmed by how influential four musicians can be 50 years after their formation.

Channel Nine, what else would you expect? This is the same channel that shows the Footy Show, which is full of sexist bullshit and the panel of idiots trying to be funny are about as amusing as a knife through the head. Would you rather bands today be influenced by crap pop songs/bands without meaning, or bands like Jet being influenced by quality groups like the Stones and the Beatles? And also, before you say the Stones are suing for plagiarism or whatever, Jet actually toured with them twice.
