3-15-08 Portland Oregon Anti-War Protest/Rally

Some highlights of the 03/15/08 World W/out War March in PDX, commemorating the 5th anniversary of the war in Iraq. While there was a obvious bike police presence there, I do want to give some kudos to police chief Rosie Sizer who had the cops in full riot gear out of main sight a few blocks away, ready just in case, but not obviously in our faces. The bike cops were friendly, but watchful, and I believe this prevented bad situations like last years protest. I'll be posting still pix of the event at another site, and will post a link when its done, so check back here for that.

i think portland police need to work on their tactics a little better because they think just because we are aginst the war that we are enemys we are not the enemy we want peace all over the world

Hahaha loved the ending. So much I didn't see at the rally. The weather was fierce, but I loved being there. Thanks for putting this up. :)
