More than once the 20 or less cashier has invited us to her register, us with TWO carts full of crap. Only once has some douche-bag said anything to me in a check out line and they were very sorry for it.

it is a rule. As a cashier supervisor i sorta know the rules for my casheirs. They cannot tell u u cannot come to their register just because you have 'too much'

@dave46563 I've done both. At my old store one of our 'express' lines was also the smoke shop, I've sent customers back when cashiers tell them 'you have too much' and they're gripping: 'but I want cigarettes.'. Also, a friend and I used to pull people with a lot of stuff to our quick check outs, if we had an empty cart near by and could easily transfer it between the full and empty it was so quick and made everyone happy.

@Lizzyerdify I'm glad someone is talking sense here. Asda staff in the UK (part of Walmart group) will always direct you to a free checkout regardless of number of items. I work for Tesco and I dont care who I serve...the time goes quick just the same. To the person who filmed this...its called Customer Service dude. How would you like it if a cashier said I cant serve you....nuff said!
