In August 1947, the British decided to quit India after nearly 200 years of taking power. India, one the most ethnically diverse nations in the world was to be divided. One country will now become two, India and Pakistan. The once peaceful land now implodes, people are forced out the villages that they have lived in for generations. 15 million scramble to be on the right side of the boarder, at least 1 million die in the process. Communities that have lived together for centuries turn on each other in one of the worst communal massacres of the 20th century. Britain the once great colonial power looks on as India Burns.

008.012 Remember thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): "I am with you:

give firmness to the Believers: I will instill terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers:

smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them."This verse and the verses before and after were revealed about the Battle of Badr, which occurred in Arabia in the early seventh centry.

Nothing against u or any normal people like u .Dont misunderstand me. The Quran contains at least 100+ verses that call Muslims to war with nonbelievers.

If it was a fight with enemy it's reasonable .But it was just a fight against who dont think in the Islam way . It is not acceptable in modern world at all. Example

Quran (8:12) - "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them"
