@Natesmodelrailroad I have to tell you that what you've read is old news. That was proven very flawed and isn't true. I could send you many links to back up the proof as well, but like you said, youtube won't let you. Do some more research and you'll see for yourself. Also, the battery IS recycled, 100%. Toyota has been doing that since the Rav4EV which was launched back in the mid 90s. Soooo many rumors about the hybrid technology......

@Natesmodelrailroad and if you did more research, you'd find out that that was done by a marketing research company a LONG time ago, and has been debunked MANY times. For starters, they claim the Prius can only last 100,000 miles vs a hummer at 300,000 miles. And everyone knows no gm product is going to last that long without sinking lots of money into it. 200,000 miles on my Prius, with nothing more then oil changes done to it. Still on original brakes even.

@smokedame That one was my mistake, I will admit. But, those batteries are very expensive to make. In fact, after a bit of searching, I did find out that the Prius outdoes the Hummer in Environmental damage. I'd link ya, but Youtube doesn't allow links in comments.

@Natesmodelrailroad Simple, they don't have Lithium batteries in them.
-
@smokedame Alright, tell me....why do you believe that? I'm not doubting you, I'm just curious.
-
@Natesmodelrailroad Yes, I do.
-
@smokedame And you do?
-
@Natesmodelrailroad The fact you just said "The Lithium-Ion batteries are what cost the most to make" proves you don't know shit about the car.
-
@smokedame They don't use any recycled parts in it...mainly because they can't.
The Lithium-Ion batteries are what cost the most to make, especially on the environment. Go look up "How It's Made: Lithium Batteries", then tell me that doesn't take a shit-ton of energy to make.

@Natesmodelrailroad Yes, and clearly you haven't.........
Mmmmmmmmmgay, homohomohomohomohomo hahaha, hate that rubbish car, shouldn't exist, Honda FCX Clarity should be the one for clean driving, only emissions is water.

@azmichael34 And not everyone will want the cars you're promoting, myself included. I fail to see where Toyota ever claimed it as a performance vehicle. Styling is subjected, you might not like it while others might. I for one don't like anything Porsche has ever built. I certainly wouldn't want a bmw outside of warranty, that's like playing russian roulette with a loaded gun
