@GG2873 cutting and pasting : o the Manor Born was filmed on location in Cricket St Thomas, Somerset, and in a studio
I wonder if they have tours of various places they filmed these old English programs. I would love to take one.

lol "...Sabbath duties."
-
does anybody know what's the name of the village? It looks very beautiful and peaceful.
I wish I could live there.
This telefilm was broadcasted also in Italy in the Eighties

Audrey's maiden name is fforbes-Hamilton, her mother's maiden name is Hartley
-
@ProNorden In later episodes she talks about her childhood at the Manor and if I'm not correct in the plot summary it says that she was a fforbes-Hamilton who also married another fforbes-Hamilton. I assumed they were cousins (not sure how distant) who got married to keep the Manor in the family. I don't think Audrey ever mentioned if she loved Marton or not....
-
Miss you Mrs. Poo and Brabinger! They should have gotten married, too. :) Or maybe Mrs. Poo had a fling with Old Ned. . .
-
Its a shame that this series is unavailable on streaming services, but thank you for presenting it here!
Great TV!
-
Actually , Audrey ______(maiden name?)'s "roots"and heritage are undisclosed so far.
She 'arranged' to marry the departed Martin fforbes-Hamilton, wanting the Manor she has said.
-
I do like how his mom tells him off.

Some of the first series was actually shown during the final weeks of the ITV dispute of 1979, which is why the ratings went up.
