It's okay when someone doesn't like something. One of the beautiful things about music, and art, is that it affects people in different ways. I think in some ways everyone has their own unique response, their own unique way in which some creation moves them or perhaps doesn't. Thats a good thing. For me personally I love this song, it moves me. I'm sure that has a lot to do with my background and what I have gone through, gender wise, but also because I love the music of Antony and the Johnsons

@dandmangore Was that really necessary to write? Come on. If you don't like her voice, then that's one thing. Why does she repeat it though? I take it that this was what she said to keep her self going, and therefore this was what gave her hope.

THIS SONG SUCKS SO BAD. I don't care how good this dudes voice is or how well the song is arranged. He repeats the same three lines and I his voice actually hurts my ears. I'm a major hater. I literally banged my head against my desk as I listened to this song for a project.

@ksepple The only ones I can think of are "Candy Says" by The Velvet Underground, about real life transsexual, Candy Darling and her considering having the sex change operation and her general body image. There is also "Walk on the Wild Side" by Lou Reed, which, amongst other themes, deals with transsexuality and references three real life transgendered people: Candy Darling (from above), Holly Woodlawn and Jackie Curtis.
