  • wahahahaha, i want to be a neonatal nurse soooooo badly; freshmen in high school but i know what i want after high school!(: gahh; it's exciting and scary at the same time...

  • you cant just love babies to do this job. its much more than that.

  • @spacemanfla YOU ARE 100 PERCENT RIGHT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THANKS FOR YOUR HONEST POST.

  • Fuck all nicu doctors, most are stupid anyway an frustrated surgeons or just plain lazy.Nurses have to do ALL the crap docs,PAs dont feel like doing.Everyday NIcus and management, docs, etc look for ways to make the nurse do more! Managers are so ungrateful to the best nurses turning them into robots, yes men and asskissers.Managers never protect and defend nursing ,they do not even remember having been a nurse. Smart parents are NICE to NUrses and give happiness ,love appreciation for all .

  • @fp853 : Nurses do all the dirty work for the Doctors, so lets BE KIND TO NURSES. What you said may be true but you don't have to keep bringing it up, like your any better than nurses.

  • BE KIND TO DOCTORS...

Without us, you would die regardless of whether the nurse was there or not.

Snarkiness aside, I don't understand why doctors and nurses need to bash each other. Let's all work together and give each other respect.

  • @PurpleGiraffe99 No problem. Glad I could help. :-)

  • @livinitupful thanks a lot. :)

  • @PurpleGiraffe99 Well I attained my bachelor's in Nursing. (BSN) and Then went back for my Master's. Am attending Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. They have a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner degree. A lot of schools are starting programs for this. It's slowly becoming more popular. So just start looking into colleges around you and seeing what they offer. You can always call and ask someone what it would take to finish their program. Good Luck!
