Sister Act: Hail Holy Queen

From Sister Act, the 1992 film starring Whoopi Goldberg, this is one of those scenes you can watch over and over. Its funny and wonderful every time. Whoopi plays a Reno lounge singer who witnesses a mob hit ordered by her boyfriend and has to be hid by the authorities. What the last place her boyfriend will look? A convent. Taking the name Sister Mary Clarence, she successfully hides out, taking to the choir like a duck to water. But her success turning them from frumpy to headliners overnight could be her undoing.

In this scene, Whoopi introduces the choir with a lovely and rousing rendition of the classic, Hail Holy Queen.

Also starring the incredible Maggie Smith as the Mother Superior, Kathy Nijimy and Mary Wickes (as fellow nuns), Wendy Makkena (as the novice), and Harvey Keitel as Whoopis criminal boyfriend.
