That's true. I learned that in a Russian History I class in University. Even though Ashkenazi MAY be traced to the middle east, you have to ask the question, where exactly. Face it, you are remnants of a new wave of Jews. Most of the original Israelites died out through slavery and genocide, or just intermarried and were outbred by the surrounding Goyim.
