It's very important to take care of your hands, because that's where the first signs of aging tend to show. Plus, it just isn't pleasant having dry, rough skin! This easy, at home treatment will help repair and protect your hands so you'll be left with smooth, soft skin just in time for the warmer months ahead!

What you'll need:
-2 tbsp. sugar
-3 tbsp. olive oil
-Heavy cream or whole milk (you can use 2%, but it won't be as effective)
-2 separate pieces of plastic wrap

Directions:
**Remember to start off with clean, bare hands that are free of any nail polish when using this treatment. That way, all the nutrients can be properly absorbed!

In a small bowl, combine the sugar and olive oil until a thick liquid is formed. Set aside for later. Pour the cream or milk into a shallow, microwave safe dish. Pop it into a microwave for about 40 seconds, or until the cream/milk is warm. Microwave times will vary, so make sure to test the temperature before soaking your entire hand. Soak your hands in the cream, making sure to fully submerge your fingertips. As the cream begins to cool, rub it into your hands. Clean off the excess with a warm wash cloth. Put down the two pieces of plastic wrap. Spoon the sugar and olive oil scrub onto one hand, and gently rub your hands together to remove any dead skin. For extra hydration, wrap your hands in the plastic wrap and let it sit for about 15-20 minutes. Use a warm wash cloth to remove any residue, or rinse your hands with water. Just make sure not to use soap, otherwise the moisture will be stripped away!

Use this treatment once a week to help repair and protect your hands from damage and signs of aging.

  • Does anyone know what kind of cream she used? :/

  • I didn't do the cream part, nor did I wrap my hands in plastic, but the scrub worked just amazingly! I will propably start doing this every week or so. Thank you for sharing

  • @Maddiecakess11 in the description it says forever 21

  • Where did you get your necklace?(: I am like in love with it! Also i will definitley be trying this and ill let you know how it goes! (: Thanks a bunch!

  • this didn't work for me. it was discussing to work with and while i had it on my hands, they felt like the were on fire... NOT A FAN.

  • @Saintlybell Yes, of course there is a difference. It's much worse to eat something, than to put it on your skin. However, when people's skin absorbs the cream, some of the cream is ingested into that persons body; it does not just sit there. The microwave changes the molecular structure of whatever it zaps, so anything one ingests which has been altered at a molecular level can damage their DNA. But if you don't trust me or want do your own research, then do as you please.

  • @Portyy85 Is there a difference between heating up food in the microwave and eating it and heating up food/other stuff and putting it on your skin? Food is immediately inside your body and the cream isn't. Btw it is not radioactive after heating up.

  • ily ingrid...but... out of all the things you could have done this got you into nextup? not like this was a bad tutorial i just think its funny. ahaha home made hand moisturizer. none the less i am gonna try this :D

  • I would highly advise that people not use Radioactive cream to moisturize their skin. Do NOT use the microwave to heat things up that are going into, or on your body. Radioactive Isotopic Cream is NOT healthy. Find another alternative to heat up the cream.

  • Lol all these idiots asking what cream it is. Heavy cream is probably called something different in your country like whipping cream, pouring cream etc.

Also for those saying lotion instead I think her point is this is an all natural treatment with no nasty chemicals or unknown ingredients like most lotions contain.

    Great video, thanks :)
