Lily Collins Lands "City of Bones" Movie Role

Taylor Launter's rumored lady lands a new job -- ClevverTV has the scoop up next.

Hello hello everyone. You're watching ClevverTV and I'm your host for the day Joslyn Davis. Taylor Lautner's rumored love interest both on and off camera, actress Lily Collins, has just signed on to a brand new project. Lily, who is also the daughter of musician Phil Collins, will play Clary Fray in "City of Bones."

As you can tell, Lily has both a famous father and rumored boyfriend, but she is definitely paving her own way. This next role will show her playing a fiery-haired heroine, however, before we get to see that action we'll see her on-screen with Taylor Lautner in "Abduction." I don't care if Lily plays Clary. I'll survive if Jamie plays Jace. I'm just waiting for someone to play SIMON!!! :D Cast someone as Simon, and I'll be a happy lady.

I don't like that she will be playing Clary.... I thought of someone else like Emma Roberts or someone like that....

Clary is suppose to be 5 ft nothing, curly carrot-red hair, and freckles. And Lily is the polar opposite.

Get an actual red-head to portray her, damn it!!!

Lilys acting is actually pretty good! She was pretty good in Abduction, and i couldnt pick anyone else to play Clary if i had to....but im really disapointed Alex Pettyfer isnt playing Jace....thats just plain disapointing...

I like her for the role as long as the dye her hair so she's a light redhead. As for the person they've landed for Jace, they better make him blonder.

@polkadot1213 i kno what u mean exactly!! but just think tho they MUST have casted jamie as jace for his amazing portrayal of jace wayland not just based upon looks unfortunately haha

I found that Lily's APPEARANCE suits clary, but i though her acting was.... let's just say not exactly top notch. -_- Especially in Abduction (it was almost commical).

Does anyone agree?

The only characters i am really worried about are Alec and Magnus Bane.....If they screw up the casting for them I am going to be pissed, along with many others.

No offence...the casting sucks... I was hoping for better... I dont know if they can reach up to the intensity of the story... :/
