Climate change happens! wether we like it or not.it always has and always will change. What we can do is stop poisoning the local enviroments where we live! Every little helps? Stop poisoning the plants and trees with disgusting herbisides, stop polluting all our lakes rivers seas and streams.Plant a tree in every garden where possible? Clean up the enviroment.

This was sounding rational right up until the oh-so-reasonable fellow claimed that our carbon output was "trivial." Sorry, no, 250x+ the output of every volcano on earth annually (35 billion tons/year by humans, 130 million tons/year by volcanoes) is anything but trivial, and to attempt to classify it so is delusional.

Fact is CO@ is NOT a poisonous gas. Quote numbers like this is disingenuous at best because those numbers still indicate NOTHING DANGEROUS or sinister except the fear mongering that goes along with it. CO2 is one of the most essential gases to all life on this planet and we can use every bit of what you are scaring everyone about. WE NEED CO2! The more the better for all plant life!

@TPOCS Wow. If I were a climate change denier I would think you were giving us a bad name. You seem to be a little confused regarding the difference between a poison and a greenhouse gas. This indicates to me that you likely haven't really studied the facts of climate change. Climate change activists are not at all saying that a certain amount of carbon dioxide is not beneficial. However, your statement "the more the better for all plant life" is just plain incorrect.

It is not incorrect. We are actually in a relatively CO2 starved concentration compared to periods in the past. The amount CO2 concentrations that climate change fear mongers are screaming about are not and will not be harmful to life on this earth. Plant life would thrive with much higher concentrations than those they try to freak everyone out over.

@JVbin Science isn't about consensus, and it is about testing hypotheses.  Make some predictions that test the hypothesis and see how they stack up against real-world observations. That's science. Asking for scientist's opinions is a waste of time. Their opinions don't matter. Verifying hypotheses with real-world data matters. Scientist's opinions only matter to those who have an agenda.
