Oz - Brisbane's Daffodil Day

One of the advantages of a robust street life is the simple fact that when you have a cause and need to connect with people, you merely stand on the corner and talk to everybody!

I suppose in LA, the equivalent would be the guy at the on-ramp of the freeway selling oranges or the guy at the off-ramp simply asking for money.

While in Oz we witnessed several serious campaigns including the highly successful Daffodil Day. As we were walking, it seemed that everybody had yellow daffodils ($5) and then we discovered why. Folks like these raising money for a great cause.
