i got mine down from 9 sec to 6.9 just by upgrading the injectors and cleaning the exhaust. only about $130 and a few hours if you can do it yourself! really worth doing!

Unless you are a motoring journalist or a clutch / tyre replacement fanatic, the 30-50 in second and 50-80 in third times are much more representative of a vehicle's performance.

Keep in mind that these cars accelerate fast only when the proper rpm's are achieved. Nothing is going to happen of the turbo isn't spooled up. You should see it accelerate between 40 and 80 mph, for example.

I retried: time 9-10 sec. also because difficult starting in 1st gear by violent turbo. See my new video "Saab 900 t16 camera car"

Ad time of video I had a problem with pressure boost sensor, now fitted. Hope to repeat test and have a better performance, considering I won't make super-speed shifting.
