It's songs like this that make it impossible to pigeon-hole The Band. They could go in any direction, and no two songs sounded alike. The versatility, the sheer musical empathy they have for each other, the timelessness of their work, makes their music like evergreens. I've loved them for well over 40 years. RIP Richard & Rick. You are deeply missed.
To me, they're in a league way above both Traffic and Three Dog Night, who were no more than just good bands.

@HUTINAK No, The Band wrote this song, and recorded it originally. Three Dog Night covered many times in concert. Their version is really good too!
