@Proffesorpwn Looks like it might be a go for you, for two pouches on the front. Front molle is 12" wide x 7" tall. The side molle can accommodate 5.5" wide by 12" tall. Good luck!
-
can you tell me how long the molle straping on the front is? im looking to fit 2 fatty organizers and 1 fr-1 pouch

Another great review, I'll definitely be getting this pack when I get the money. I have the Monsoon gearslinger and it's alright for a one day use pack, but man does it make my right shoulder sore haha especially on a hike up Old Rag in VA I just did. But this pack would be great for a hike in camping trip.
-
@metal91 yeah im 6' and really large and i use this pack a lot. fits really well on your back and the shoulder straps extend quite well.

I just came back from camping Yosamite Ca.
This time next year going to hike up Half Dome. Its a 14 hour hike,(round trip) so I was looking for a backpack. And your review was outstanding. Thank you. Going to order it soon from Amazon.
Thank You again.
P.S That will be my very first long hike, (time to lighten up on the OREO intake)

Thanks a lot for the review very informative and helps me decide on my next backpack purchase.
-
Hi I like your vids really appreciate em! Could you tell me how stout are the seams where the shoulder straps connect to the bag are and how they are attatched? Do you know if there is a cargo weight limit on that pack? THankS!
-
Hey Ros, do you have any videos that show the khaki and foliage green next to each other? I had a khaki Condor and Monkey admin pouch. I sold the Condor because it was too small for my needs. I'm wanting to get the Foliage Vulture and was wondering how the khaki monkey pouch would look on the back of it.
-
Thank you, I've been looking for a great pack.
-
thank you for this review, obviously very helpful and informative - I just discoved these packs and I am going to invest in them from now on, no more used packs from the local thrift shop!
-
Is that a Sitka in the background?
-
I know this is a late response, but I would go for the vulture 2. I don't have one....yet. I have the falcon and love it, but was very challenging while camping up at the top of a butte in Montana. I would have been happy with more room. I love my falcon though.
-
Do you think this would be a good pack for a 4 day backpacking trip?
-
@MegaMatt333 Do more research and think about a Kelty or Camelbak brand product.
-
Great review, thank you!
-
RoscoeBa, I love your Vids, Very informative and professional, Your maxped vids are the only vids i watch if im considering another one....Kepp up the great vids and thanks for the great information.

Ultra light equipment can also be fragile. The weight of the Maxpedition is amazing considering how durable it is. Light weight and tuff!
How much weight can you load in comfortably?
-
Good review, but poor placement of the hydration tube. It really should exit to one side.
Thanks

If your going for overnight, I'd definatley go with the Vulture 2
Mm wondering if it's too big for university

@deeaxident I would say its definitely too big for that. Lots of folks seem to like the Falcon 2 for campus...

A little issue with the V2 it has no drainage hole at the bottom !!!!
buggymak 1 month ago
@buggymak Good point. In the same vein, though, wouldn't a drainage hole allow water to seep inside when you drop the bag on moist ground...? What do you think?

A great review, i got one, but just a little issue is that the V2 doesn't have a drain hole on the bottom.even with the waterproof material you have to put your stuff in plastic bags!!!!
buggymak 1 month ago
@buggymak Right. I used a giant zip lock bag (now where in the heck did I even get that...??) and packed all of my gear into the zip lock. Used a pack cover too. We hiked one day in a full downpour for the entire day and all was good. Disaster if I didn't have the pack cover and ziplock though! :-o
