Outstanding work, Mannie. As a matter of no small coincidence, I had mentioned the catbird to Mary earlier TODAY in relation to its cousins the Brown Thrasher and Mockingbird, which is the bird Mary is referring to in her comment... You can hear the resemblance in the call. Her mockingbird makes noise outside her window at all hours of the night. I was always very pleased when seeing a catbird in the trees at our Maryland house. Splendid cut.

I was actually mentioning the birds who roost under our balcony at the house and make their home there a couple times a year in AZ. What are they called? I was really sad when the babies fell out of the nest that one time! I really love the music you used, Mannie, and how the tempo keeps changing, just like little frisky birds!!

This is incredible! One of the best editorial feats on youtube!! One of my new "favorites!" I love the bird running to and fro, and jumping on your hand. Great work. We have lots of birds and pets who make their home close to our house, but we've never been able to get this close! AMAZING. Thanks for sending it to me. -mary

Wow! Super video! I love the pictures of the little birds in the nest, and the catbird singing at the end.

Wow! How'd you get that bird to sing with the music at the end?
